Scranton Products Eclipse Partitions Add a Touch of Elegance to Ateres Ayala, a Popular Chicagoland Banquet Hall
Ateres Ayala opened in 2021 as Chicagoland’s first and only Simcha hall – a banquet space and kosher wedding venue, dedicated to fine dining and exquisite services.
“Ateres Ayala was founded in the memory of Ayala Shulman, a loving and exuberant girl who lived her short life to the fullest,” said Mordy Siegel, the CEO of Luxe Catering at Ateres Ayala. “There is no more fitting tribute than this luxurious venue that provides the perfect balance of beauty and elegance to life’s most joyous occasions.’
Just 16 miles from downtown Chicago, Ateres Ayala is the former site of a warehouse located in the Village of Skokie, “one of America’s top 100 best places to live” according to Livibility.com. “We were tasked with creating an elevated, comfortable event space designed to serve the entire community,” explained Michael Lebovics, the co-founder and vice president of design at ML Group Design + Development in Skokie. “This included converting the building into a premier location through a turnkey approach that covered the venue’s architecture, interior design, and construction.”
Since Ateres Ayala opened a little more than a year ago, thousands of guests have enjoyed the banquet hall’s numerous amenities offering everything from the menus prepared by Chicago’s finest chefs to the beautifully-designed, multi-purpose rooms and world-class catering services. Other highlights surround the banquet hall’s timeless features, which were meticulously integrated into the warehouse’s original structure.
“Jaws drop when guests enter the lobby for the first time,” said Lebovics. “They’re actually awestruck by everything from the ballroom’s fresh, timeless appeal to the polished, elegant restrooms, which were critical to the entire experience. We’ve all been in bathrooms that look like an afterthought. We wanted a truly special and beautiful design that stood out on its own.”
To achieve the desired look and feel, each restroom features gold-framed mirrors, crystal sconces, custom fixtures and Scranton Products Eclipse Partitions®. “The Eclipse Partitions are the ideal complement for restrooms wanting to exude style, privacy and comfort,” said Adi Klinghofer of Prestige Distribution in Northbrook, Illinois. “A contemporary look that doesn’t include the high-end price tag, Scranton Products is the leader in innovation that never fails to deliver on quality and long-lasting durability in high-use situations.”
To further the comfortable support of up to 1,000 guests at the banquet hall, the Ateres Ayala men and women’s rooms were both fitted with black, full-length Eclipse Partitions with an orange peel texture. Made of durable HDPE for commercial environments, the Eclipse product line combines innovative aesthetics and durable performances with minimal sightlines to deliver superior privacy and comfort. This includes 55-inch Standard, 62-inch High and 72-inch Extra High height options, an extensive array of colors and textures, and a wide variety of brackets, hinges, stanchions, head rails and latches that ensure solid constructions and smooth, elegant designs.
In a new world view focused on health and safety, Scranton Products Eclipse Partitions are also naturally germ-resistant and easy to clean, especially important features in today’s public settings. Unlike metal partitions, which can rust and harbor germs, they offer superior resistance to impact, graffiti, corrosion, mildew, bacteria and moisture.
According to Siegel, the banquet hall’s restroom design and amenities were essential for establishing the facility’s quality and cleanliness.
“Since our grand opening in 2021, the Ateres Ayala has become the premier destination for local celebratory events,” said Siegel. “Elegance combined with value are our key selling points. This extends all the way from our luxurious lobby to our restrooms, which are not only gorgeous, but combine an exceptional mixture of privacy, comfort and style.”
“The goal was to provide high-end meeting and banquet experiences to the local community at an affordable price,” added Lebovics. “And this was all accomplished with an uncompromising approach to quality and the inclusion of amenities like beautiful restroom experiences.”
