Sustainable and Contemporary Commercial Restroom Materials

When designing a restroom or other space, professionals are often faced with the challenge of selecting materials that function, appeal to the senses, and contribute to green building initiatives. In this course, we will explore various material options available to the design professional as well as provide practical solutions that designers may want to consider when specifying a product that can offer sustainability, durability, and even promote a healthier environment for people. Additionally, the design professional will learn more about HDPE, including its attributes, composition, design options, and sustainable contributions. We’ll also take a look at why product transparency and responsible manufacturing are important considerations when specifying a sustainable product that is able to reduce energy consumption, recycle waste materials, and offer other benefits to the environment and its occupants.
